In this short video, you'll learn how to register your OnePack battery for its 10-year warranty, and how to successfully transfer that warranty to a new owner.

OnePack Warranty: How to Register Your Battery and Transfer Warranty

Learn how to register your OnePack battery to claim its 10-year warranty, and learn how to successfully transfer that warranty to a new owner.

Customers choose Trojan OnePack lithium-ion batteries to power their golf cars and low speed electric vehicles for a variety of reasons. For some it’s about performance and being able to maintain speed with multiple passengers or heavy cargo, even when going up hills. For others it’s about extending the range of their vehicle, and many people just want to be free of battery maintenance. But did you know that in addition to enhancing the functionality of your vehicle, Trojan OnePack lithium-ion batteries can also help to maintain its value?
Every Trojan OnePack lithium-ion battery is eligible for a 10-year limited warranty. Starting with vehicles purchased after September 1, 2026, that warranty can now be transferred toto a new owner if you decide to sell your golf cart before the end of the warranty period. So, when it’s time to upgrade your golf car, you can sell your old vehicle with the battery warranty still intact.
Unlocking the 10-year warranty on your Trojan OnePack Lithium-Ion battery is simple and can be done online. To start, within 90 days of purchasing the new battery, register the battery with Trojan by visiting trojanbattery.com/trojan-lithium-batteries. From there, navigate to the warranty information page. On this page you’ll see two registration options. One to register a new battery and one to transfer ownership of the warranty to a new owner.
If you are the original owner of the OnePack, choose the Warranty Registration link. You’ll want to have your battery and the vehicle its installed in nearby, so you have all the information you’ll need to complete the form. Start the registration by locating the battery model number and serial number. Both of these numbers can be found on the top of the battery, so it’s easy to find, even after installation. Then let us know how to get in touch with you for important updates about your battery. Next, upload the proof of purchase of the battery and information about the vehicle your battery is going power, including the VIN or serial number of the vehicle. Once the information is filled out and the form has been submitted you will receive an email confirmation of the registration and your battery and vehicle will be linked so if you decide to sell your vehicle, the battery warranty can go with it.
The transfer of a OnePack battery should be completed by the new owner within 30 days of the purchase of the vehicle with the battery installed. The warranty does not transfer if the battery is removed from the original vehicle. To transfer ownership, you still want to visit trojanbattery.com/trojan-lithium-batteries and then navigate to the warranty information page. But instead of choosing the warranty registration link, you will choose the warranty transfer link. On the warranty transfer form, start by filling out the original owner’s name and the battery serial number. Then your contact information and the vehicle information including the make, model and VIN or serial number. Finally, confirm the date of the transfer of ownership and submit the form. Once the transfer has been processed, the new owner will receive an email confirmation.
That’s it! The warranty has now been transferred to the new owner and the 10-year warranty remains intact from the original purchase date and you can enjoy your new-to-you golf car with the peace of mind that your Trojan lithium-ion battery is still under the original manufacturer’s warranty.
