Frequently Asked Questions about the OnePack Warranty
The warranty for Trojan OnePacks is for 10 years from the date of purchase for eligible batteries.
The OnePack 10-Year Warranty covers replacement, repair or credit of a battery that does not meet Trojan’s published specifications due to a defect in manufacturing or materials. Accessories such as chargers, state-of-charge gauges, and other non-battery components are covered by a separate 1-year warranty.
To be eligible for the 10-year warranty, the OnePack battery must have been purchased from an authorized Trojan Lithium-Ion battery dealer or distributor on or after August 1, 2025 and registered within 90 days of the original purchase at the Register your OnePack Battery page on the Trojan Battery website.
OnePack High Performance batteries purchased before this date are still eligible but must be registered before December 31, 2025. OnePack 105Ah and OnePack Extended Range batteries purchased before August 1, 2025 are covered by an 8-year warranty and are not eligible for the 10-year warranty.
OnePack batteries that are not registered within 90 days of purchase are eligible for the base warranty of 1 year.
The serial number of the OnePack battery can be found on the top cover of the battery on a white label located below the OnePack logo. It can also be read from the Trojan SmartBattery® App while connected via Bluetooth®.
For approved warranty claims within the first 5 years of ownership, your dealer will provide a replacement battery of similar size and performance at no charge. After 5 years, your dealer will provide a credit as a percentage of the original purchase price to be used towards the purchase of a new Trojan Lithium-Ion battery of similar size to the original. Credit amount will vary depending on how long the original battery was in service. See the OnePack warranty document for more information.
Contact the dealer where the battery was purchased if you believe your battery is defective and eligible for a warranty claim.
If you are not able to contact the dealer, visit our dealer locator to find your nearest Trojan Battery dealer. The dealer will need access to the battery and may need to update firmware or download operational history of the battery from the battery management system. If warranty eligibility cannot be determined, the battery may need to be returned to Trojan for evaluation prior to approval of the claim.
Once the battery is registered, the original receipt is not required. As long as your OnePack battery is registered within 90 days after purchase, it will still be eligible for warranty replacement without the original receipt.
Physical damage to a battery from abuse, misuse, accidents, etc. are not covered under the battery warranty. Do not attempt to open the battery case; there are no user-serviceable components inside.
Contact your dealer or Trojan Technical Support for instructions on handling or disposing of a damaged battery.
Each serial number can only be registered once. The 10-year warranty is not transferable.
For Technical Support with any Trojan battery product, you can contact your local dealer, reach out online through the Technical Support form, or call Trojan Technical Support at +1 (562) 236-3045.
